Bio
Debby completed the Doctor of Physiotherapy program at University of Melbourne after receiving a Bachelor of Biomedicine (Neuroscience) the years previous. She is passionate in building long-term, effective therapeutic alliance with clients in guiding them to achieve the best health outcomes. With 10 years in private practice and community-based experiences, she has gained a thorough understanding of pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, effective pain management and spinal rehabilitation. Her clinical interests include chronic back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee pain. Recently, she has been working closely with local badminton clubs to improve players’ wellbeing and performance as well as prevent injuries.
Work Experience
Debby established Livewell Health with a simple aim: to provide personalised health solutions by putting clients first. She loves empowering and enabling the local communities towards moving with confidence, no matter the age or physical conditions.
Debby is invited regularly to speak about promoting physical activity, health and wellbeing in local communities, including events held at Indonesia Consulate General in Melbourne. She was recently invited to speak to final year students at Melbourne University to give guidance on their careers ahead.
Hobbies
Outside work, Debby enjoys spending time with her family, catching up with friends over coffee and exploring new places. She loves playing badminton, solo driving, reading and painting - these are her ikigai!
